Standard Hardboard

Standard hardboard is a thin, dense fibreboard with one smooth face and one textured back, used for floor protection during fit-outs, drawer bottoms, cabinet and panel backs, and templates. It cuts and drills easily with hand or power tools and is light to handle on site. The smooth face takes paint or a finish well once sealed. A cost-effective board for jobs where you need a flat, uniform surface without the weight or cost of plywood or MDF. Best kept dry, as standard hardboard isn't moisture resistant. Sheet size 2440 x 1220mm in 3mm. Sold to trade and self-builders across Herts and London.
